Tee is staying, per Hyams. Sorry Kiffin.

If Saban coaches about 5 more years Pruitt may be at that point in his coaching career.
I would hope Pruitt will have better sense. The coach that goes in behind Saban is already on the hot seat. The 1st game he loses ,they will be calling for a public hanging. They wanted Saban fired when he lost to LSU. Pruitt will want to go back after they done hired 3 or 4 other coaches.

Bama won't come for Pruitt unless he's winning here AND Bama has struck out on other folks like Dabo or even potentially Kirby if UGA runs him off.

With that said, I don't think Pruitt is one to get sentimental at the fact he would get to "go home"....... Regardless if Pruitt left for Bama, that means he got the program back to top tier status and we will be going into a new search with our program in the best shape its been in for a coaching search in decades.
AtlantaVol has posted that there’s burnt bridges between Pruitt and supposed powers that be in Tuscaloosa that could kwarr a reunion.

After a year under Chaney, Tee has probably realized that he needs more time as an apprentice before he tries his hand at OC again if he wants to be successful.

Well then I am very happy. I could easily see Pruitt being here for a long time. I did think it was odd that Pruitt was one of the guys Phil went after. Not upset at it, but just always thought it was odd. It has been interesting to see Pruitt in the 2 Bama games. First one is saying he needs more guys that what to play here on National TV and then the way he threw out all the stops and tricks in T Town this season. Seems to me he's a guy that wants to stick a dagger thru Saban and Bama.

I have to believe he and Fulmer talked and once coach Pruitt starts reaching top ten team status Alabama probably come beating down the door just like Patriots probably try to steal Titans coach one day. Then Tee gets his shot at head coach for the Vols imo.

Then he'll need to be real patient , ;)

Hoping so. Winning over there does make you want that over here tho. Could see that in play if Pruitt establishes his own take on The Process in Knoxville.

Also regarding Vrabel, I see no way in hell he is the one who follows Belichek after he retires and Brady is no longer there. That franchise will basically go the route of Denver post Peyton.

Vrabel ain't going to give up the money to move to New England either after enjoying Tennessee Tax Rates.

Maybe. But a SEC OC. Next step is head's coach. Tough to pass up. But kudos to him...his work with our WR this season was amazing

I realize it’s an SEC Coordinator job, but your boss is Phil Fulmer, your coach when you won a National Title. There is no way you can leave him for for the guy that replaced him and disrespected the job the way he did, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

He could take just about any other job in the country , but Ole Miss under Kiffin is 1, 1A, & 1B of jobs he can’t take.

Based off what? Lebby was an OC for 1 year in a weak conference, you think he's going to be a miracle worker at Ole Miss? I don't
Based on the fact that he had the #2 ranked offense in the country this year, the #5 offense in the country last year and that he is one of the hottest coaching names in college football. Ole Miss has a little recruiting to do, but they will be an offensive force sooner rather than later.

I think ole Hyams is late to the party again. Kiffin has already hired an OC, he hired Jeff Lebby for OC weeks ago. How is Tee just now turning down the OC job at Ole Miss if it's already filled ? Hyams is either way late or has his facts wrong.

more than likely, who takes the oc for Kiffin, is the oc on title only. Kiffin will call the plays

I don’t really have a problem with Kiffin either, I did initially. He’s actually pretty entertaining. I don’t think he would’ve left the way he did for any job other than USC. All that said, I think it would completely fracture his relationship with Tennessee and Coach Fulmer, as well as his relationship with the fans who hold him in such high regard. Myself included.

He's been an OC for 1 year, he was the QB coach in 2018

I don't think that's a real tweet. He said nothing about watching UT's receivers continue playing under Tee in crystal clear HD with #xfinity #ad

Set up to fail following Belichick with no guarantee of a Tom Brady falling into your lap as a stabilizer.

The Bama game is what won me over with Pruitt. He was pulling out all stops and fighting for his players when they were getting screwed by the refs. When I seen how emotional he was on that sideline ,I told my wife then he became a Tennessee Vol tonight. I had no doubt in my mind , if JG had not pulled what he did and Tn scored right there I really thought Tn would have won that game. The announcers, a couple of plays before JG did what he did even said Tn OL is manhandling Bamas D and they was wearing Bamas D down.

The NFL isn’t like college football. Coaches are under contract and would have to be traded to take a new job without being fired. They can’t just bolt for greener pastures. So unless Belichek happens to retire the year Vrabels contract expires or gets fired, he won’t be his successor.
