Tee is staying, per Hyams. Sorry Kiffin.

Phil would most likely hire Tee as head coach one day with no issues. If Pruitt outlasts Phil in terms of tenure at UT, I think the Tee to head coach would be a lot more burdensome to happen.
Aight, I understand what you meant now. I shouldn't have responded. Sorry.

I have to believe he and Fulmer talked and once coach Pruitt starts reaching top ten team status Alabama probably come beating down the door just like Patriots probably try to steal Titans coach one day. Then Tee gets his shot at head coach for the Vols imo.

Bama won't come for Pruitt unless he's winning here AND Bama has struck out on other folks like Dabo or even potentially Kirby if UGA runs him off.

With that said, I don't think Pruitt is one to get sentimental at the fact he would get to "go home"....... Regardless if Pruitt left for Bama, that means he got the program back to top tier status and we will be going into a new search with our program in the best shape its been in for a coaching search in decades.

Hyams may have his wires crossed or maybe it was one of those OC helper titles but Kiffin already hired one of the best OCs in the game. Tee Martin was offered a lateral move only.
Based off what? Lebby was an OC for 1 year in a weak conference, you think he's going to be a miracle worker at Ole Miss? I don't

Beat me to it. Must've been a co-OC thing. I just hope Tee ups his recruiting game for us.

Just my .02 and I have ZERO inside information...but, I’d say Tee has already been told when Chaney hangs it up in a few years he’s the guy to take over as OC.

If you took the fact that he played at UT out of it would you feel the same?

Don’t know a lot of people think Tee will be a Head Coach one day. Learns from Pruitt and Fulmer you never know. You know Pruitt leaves if Bama were to ever offer him the job.

Pruitt is still learning the job. Gonna be a while before he gets to the level where Bama would offer him hfc position.

This is a real nice discussion.

But, is anyone paying close attention to what JH actually tweeted. He says after all the info in the tweet ... " per a source." This is NOT news. It is an appeal to anyone out there to BELIEVE that JH is telling the truth from a "reliable" source of information. THERE IS LITERALLY NOTHING REAL TO SEE HERE.

We have GOT to learn this at some point!

but wait i thought Hyams didn't break stories anymore? Hyams haters walking around with their heads a little bit lower today.

This isn't breaking news. Kiffin hired his OC in Oxford almost a full month ago.

That was when coaches weren't fired in 2 years, we live in a what have you done for me lately society. Look at Chizik, the guy was 2 years removed from a National Title and was fired. Also Fulmer took over a pretty good situation Majors had built. I'm not saying Tee won't ever be HC here, I hope he find success wherever it may be but if Pruitt has success and leaves then there will be plenty of better options at that time. We will see
I’m talking about Fulmer as AD and reigning kingmaker. He’s going to have a huge say if he’s breathing.

Why shocked? No way Tee burns that bridge for Kiffin. He could go just about anywhere else, but he couldn’t repair leaving his alma mater for Kiffin for an inconference team.
Maybe. But a SEC OC. Next step is head's coach. Tough to pass up. But kudos to him...his work with our WR this season was amazing
