Tee is out at USC

Find a role for him here. Not OC, but something else that allows him to recruit for us. Tee's a stud recruiter and has Cali connections that would help us out tremendously.

So now your blaming the coaching for our poor offensive season? That’s quite the turnaround by you.
What? I was also one of the first to question the game plan and lack of quick passes to mask line deficiencies. I complained about conservative play calling the whole year. I have consistently pointed to bad line play and overly conservative play calling.

Try again.

And why were we not great on o if Tyson was responsible for USC being successful? Seems like Tee had a better o judgment by the numbers. Neither were good this year.

Did he really throw out the race card? How ridiculous. Thanks for your contributions on the '98 team but your comments tell me you have become a loser. Please do not bring that guy here. It would be a total disaster.

He didn’t say anything.
And there is no such thing as a “ race card” for one. Some people hate when uncomfortable subjects are brought up.

For two the only ones who have brought up race are the ones obsessed with checking to see if he says anything that can be interpreted that way.

It’s weird that some of you are so hung up on seeing if someone brings race into it as a possible factor. Maybe you shouldn’t be bringing it up if no one else is.

Tee was fortunate to play on a great Tennessee football team and was the quarterback of our last National Championship team. Went undefeated! Coaching abilities??? Recruiter!!!

Is Tee still recruiting at the level he was a few years ago? Most of these guys slow down and age out at some point. I'd be willing to take a risk if I thought he could deliver multiple 5* every year for the foreseeable future. Otherwise, he's nowhere near the top of my list.

I don’t see Tee taking a lower position anywhere and especially not UT. I suspect he again goes after an HC job at a smaller school.

Would love to see him come in as an OC, one you'd think the offense he had would carry on the terminology of our current, two VFL and think that matters, great recruiter, don't believe he had a fair shake at USC

His wife would never leave her successful singing career and LA.

Tee needs to come back to UT as head of recruiting. He does that very well. Helton cleaned house as he is on notice, he's one and done of it doesn't get turned around in a big way next year. It's the same thing that happened to PF, he had to make big staff changes before his final year. It's pretty much the way a lot of programs operate.

Already did
I'm not sure you're comprehending what he's saying. It seems that he was referencing some criticism he received that directly, or indirectly, referenced his race or included racial epithets. He wasn't saying "he was fired because he's black". He used it as motivation to fuel his success. USC hasn't lived up to expectations the past few years. Someone had to fall on the sword. Stop being lazy, it was entirely to easy for you to say he was playing the race card. Would I want him as an OC, probably not. Would he be an upgrade to the staff ?! More than likely.

Bring him in as a position coach i'd be fine with. He's not coming back here. He's still mad we didn't interview him for head coach. Loved Tee as a player and will never forget he delivered a unbeaten team and a national title to Tennessee. May end up being the only one of my lifetime.

Hope you’re not directing that question at me. I have never ever brought up race and anytime someone has used that bull sh!t excuse, I have spoken against it every time. It is funny to see certain people bring up race because it’s a convenient pushback. It’s not rampant on this forum but it is there.
