Maybe. However, I think Tee has 1) a big ego and won't be willing to come back home in a lesser role 2) has his wife out there still pursuing her "career", not that I know her name or ever heard what she's done, if anything.

He was a poor OC with a more talented roster in an easier conference......what makes anyone think he will be more successful w less talent in a much tougher conference?

Scapegoat for a poor offense? He was the OC for an offense that finished 83rd in total offense and 90th in scoring. I didn’t keep up with USC’s struggles, so what were their excuses?

Just lost a first round qb? The new qb who started skipped his senior year? He was hurt a few games. They lost several player off of offense from last year.

Clay took over and things didn't get any better no matter who was calling the plays.

They were good the previous years. Losing a first round qb and breaking in a qb that skipped his senior year can have an effect.

I only read the first page of this, but that first page is racist as all hell. Sickeningly so. yeah yeah yeah. Y'all ain't racist. Keep telling yourself that.

One year ago, Tee was in the hunt for this job as HC. He has been rising the ranks and been praised everywhere. He gets a Freshman QB and an inexperienced head coach who chokes. And now Tee is just "a good recruiter." Yep, and black QBs are athletic. And some are even "well spoken," whatever the hell that means.

Lane Kiffin got fired for his loaded teams sucking balls, but people sure want him.

Clay Helton—one of the worst head coaches in all of football and who all of LA thinks should be canned—is now the Ethical Appeal for why Tee isn't worthy and can't coach and can only recruit, presumably because he speaks recruits language or something? What's next?

Sheesh. The more things change, the more racist Tennessee stays.

Please God no. This has gimmick written all over it. I love what Tee did for us in 98, but we NEED an ALL STAR like yesterday. Dude absolutely sucked as a OC at USC.

Why do you think he has a big ego? Even if he did I'd say he just got served a nice slice of humble pie. Also, it's funny how you think his wife's career would hold him back but admit in the same sentence you don't even know her name or what she does.

Wait, what does a staff pic have to do with the attitudes of fans and residents of the state? They didn't hire them. In fact, when a major position,OC/DC/HC, has any black candidates people go on a mission to downplay anything they have ever accomplished.
