"The current Vols, led by captains Eric Berry and Montario Hardesty, were all about the Halloween treat."
I bet Failmore did not like the black jerseys either.
This is big orange country. Some things you don't mess with. School colors is one of them. Orange and white, orange and white, orange and white, etc.

""I would have liked to have seen the black helmet with that look.''
Umm....NO.
Please learn your history. Black jersey's were worn in 1921 before we officially adopted orange and white, and they were worn again in 1963. This is not the first time nor will it be the last. No one is petitioning the school to adopt black as an official color. Plus, it doesn't matter how much you like them or dislike them, they're the player's jerseys and they're the ones who should decide. Player's and recruits loved them, and judging by the crowd's reaction I believe most the fans did as well. For a less than capacity crowd, thats one of the loudest entrances I've ever heard in Neyland.
