1. Bo Jackson
2. Raiders because he was unstoppable
3. All you had to do was run him in diagonals rotating toward the top of the screen then the bottom and repeat all the way to the endzone

Take note of my post above yours. Let me know if that still works, please?

I believe you're thinking of regular Tecmo Bowl. In Tecmo Super Bowl it saved automatically. It was great. I remember having to enter codes for Tecmo Bowl.

Oilers are legit. Their offense may be my favorite on the game after Philly. The WR's make lots of jump-catches against coverage, similar to the 49ers. Moon also has some decent wheels, which really comes in handy to make tough first downs against good opponents. Problem with the Oilers, like the Raiders, is defense.

The Oilers were awesome. Always going with the 4-wide 1-back set. The passing numbers were ridiculous.

Cowboys. The Big 3 + Alvin Harper on O. Charles Haley on D. I own all of you.

You sure you're not thinking of Tecmo Super Bowl on SNES? I don't remember Dallas being that good on the NES version.

Although they were killer on SNES with Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Novacek on O. Haley was one of those guys you could get a sack or tackle on the handoff on 70-80% of the plays.

I just remember being able to control the nose tackle and being able to dive immediately and get a sack anytime the other team was not in shotgun

I believe it was Techmo Super Bowl where I was the Oilers. My passing attack Moon, Jefferies, Givens and someone else was unstopable.

1. The GOAT?
2. Your favorite team? Why?
3. Nuances that make the game so great?

1. No
2. 49ers. Was boss with Montana, Craig, Rice, and Ronnie Lott taking off heads.
3. Favorite thing about TSB was that you could play a full season and the inclusion of trades(even though the trade logic was horrid).

The true GOAT is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time................I would say NFL2K1 is the best football game ever made.

Yes I am sure the big 3 was on NES. Not Tecmo Bowl (the vertical version), but Tecmo Super Bowl (horizontal).

Apparently you can get Tecmo Super Bowl on an emulator with 2009 rosters. I'll have to check this out when I leave work.

The big 3 were probably on Tecmo Super Bowl NES, but I thought that was before they were good.

I looked up the roster here: http://www.nesforever.com/games/58/tecmo-super-bowl.html

Irvin was average. Only 44 max speed and 50 receptions. Kelvin Martin was just as good in this game and actually had better reception ability. I think this was based off the 91 season. Before Dallas was the team to beat.
