Team USA Basketball

Dillon Brooks was talking so much **** about seeing us in the finals

I didn't watch the Canada/France game, but I'm hearing Canada didn't pressure ball until it was too late...France's weakness is ballhandling and they just let them walk it up all game. WTF.

Germany is a machine, but I'd rather play them than France in Paris in a gold medal match.

Stephen with 17 points in 1st quarter.
Serbia leads 31-23 after 1.

Serbia's making contested 3's. We're missing open 3's. This is crazy. Steph picked the right time to get hot. This could be so much worse. Ant, Jrue, Book, Bam, AD, KD, and White all picked a bad time to clam up.

Looks like Serbia ran out of gas in 4th Quarter. USA looks like victory is in their grasp.

Fall behind to France in Gold Medal game and it's over. Wemby still not had a big game yet saving best for last.

This is a loss without Steph Curry's performance today or tonight ever what it is in France.

Serbia made 15 threes in the first 3 quarters, and made 0 in the fourth.

They fell apart when the US took the lead. Lots of bad decisions after that. Backcourt violation, bad pass and Curry steal-lay-up, waited forever to foul, and basically dribbled the clock out.

I think the turning point was Durant’s made 3 and Jokic getting his 4th foul at the same time. US got the ball right after that made three and foul, then Booker immediately drained another three. That cut the lead to 4, and the US just took over from there.

LeBron had a triple double. He and Curry kept USA in the game the first 3 quarters.

Durant was silent until the 4th. Then he made some very important clutch plays.

The US needs to clean up their halfcourt offense against France. Too many sloppy passes, especially in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Gotta give Jokic and the Sebia guards credit. They were on fire.

You are right, and despite all that, they only turned the ball over 10x, shot 57%, and thanks to Steph's, 50% from 3p. Pretty crazy.

The fouls and FTs didn’t seem that disparate. What’s his gripe?

People were really mad about Jokic's 4th foul. I don't remember thinking it was controversial. He plowed into the screener who then plowed into the shooter.

If USA loses to France the same excuse will be spewed. It's a constant bitching about officials in Sports anymore.

You think a USA player is going to do that? Maybe, but not likely.

I mean, France wouldn't have made it out of group play if the refs didn't gift them a 4-pt play against Japan. That really did happen.

LOL. The French supporters can pretend the slight hand on the hip is what got called (which it shouldn't be called) but the ref was completely shielded from seeing that contact even happened there.
