I really like this team. Not so sure we really need to be in “rebuild mode” we’re a star away from being really-really good IMO.

We would get destroyed in the first round and can't afford another superstar. Why would you want us to rebuild only to shift a 3rd of the way through the season?

Maybe not this year, but if we can trim so far, trade for a couple of good perimeter scorers,‘I think they can be a tough out. CP is really leading this team right now and SGA is being a consistent threat on offense. Not to mention Adams is starting to play decent again.

So you wanted to blow up the team that was losing in the first round so we could create a team to lose in the first round? Last years team was 21-11 at this point. The West is down this year, we are not beating Clippers, Lakers, Rockets, or Nuggets. We need to move ahead with the rebuild not be a tough first round out.

I get what you’re saying. I probably could’ve worded the OP better, I don’t think we need to blow the roster up completely. I’d keep CP, SGA, Dennis, gallo, and Adams off limits. The rest would be fair game.

Those are the only guys with trade value of any kind though, and the guys that make it impossible to afford to sign anyone else. CP3 is going to break down at some point, he always does, same with Gallo, which has already started happening. Factor in salary and age and it just doesn't make sense to hang on to those guys. We need to trade ASAP while both are playing well and sort of healthy, not wait till they break then get less value out of them.

And it's not just you, I see a lot of our fanbase saying this. I just don't get the logic behind "let's blow it up because first round exists" turning into "let's ride it out to a first round exit" Especially when last year's team was better. And if we wait till next year, we probably get passed by The Kings (health is killing them) The Warriors, maybe The Suns and Pels, and that's not even factoring in The Spurs and Blazers. Fans are getting wrapped up in the West being down, and not looking forward past this year.

Honestly... this team would beat last years team in a 7 game series imo. Which now that I think about, Adams vs Adams is absolutely hilarious lol

that’s fair. I just don’t see any trade we can make that would give us a better pg or team than we have now. It’s obvious they don’t want to tank, so we’re kinda in a hard spot lol

You are actually crazy. Adams was better last year, and works better with Russ. Fergy was better last year with Russ. Gallo and Grant would be a wash, cause Gallo is better offensively, but Grant is much better defensively. Russ is better than CP3 at this point. PG could lock up SGA and nobody on this team could stop him, he would average 40.

Last years team Averaged more assists and less turnovers than this team, and last years created far more turnovers. Offensive efficiency is the same. Last year we were second in defensive efficiency this year 14th. This years teams perceived biggest advantage would be 3's, last years team shot a better %. Last years team was 2nd in rebounding this year 28th, they would get demolished on the boards. Last years team had a better record at this point in a much harder West. Last years team is superior in pretty much everything but FTs. Lol You fans are goofy.

It's not about now, that's the problem, it's about the future. This team is not winning a ring, ourfanse bags on Russ for playoff flameouts, but think CP3 is going to carry us somewhere. Lol Our front office is way dumber than I thought if we don't move 2-4 of CP3, Gallo, Dennis, and Adams at the trade deadline.

Lol I like the kid and think he can be a star, but damn. I think our fanbase only remembers our finish, but we were really good till the all star break, pretty much bouncing between the 2 and 3 seed. Was on a 12-2 run up to the break, then PG died (again) and it all went to sh*t. Lol

This is all KDs fault. He stays and our starting 5 the next year is Russ, Dre, KD, Horford, and Adams with VO, Taj, Sabonis, Kanter, and a still shooting good from 3 Abrines off the bench. ****ing snake. Lol

It's just offensively the teams are even, last years team was much much better defensively and would destroy this team on the boards. Those are 2 things that usually equate to winning. Plus they did it in a much tougher Western Conference.
