An article was recently published, naming the "X" Factors for each SEC team in 2016. They went with Shoop for Tennessee.

Who do you think, player-wise, could be that factor for Team 120?

Feel free to write-in your pick.

***Evan Berry not Eric***

Eric Berry for sure :)

I'm gonna say Todd Kelly on D. Someone will need to step up in the safety position with McNeil and Randolph gone. Big hitter and turnover machine screams X-Factor.
Preston Williams on O.

Preston Williams is a great choice. But I'ma go with Kongbo. Potential to explode on the scene in a WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM?? fashion makes him a definite x factor.

p.s. You listed Eric Berry among the options...much as we love our current DBs, we can only wish Eric were back on the squad. :)

Dang it... I always do that! Guess he left that strong an impression on me..

I voted for Eric Berry because if he still played for us he would still be the best player on the team and easily the X Factor.

But if we are talking on the current team, I would say Kamara

Cliche and boring to say but Joshua Dobbs. Not sure why you don't have him as one of the main options. As he goes, so does this team. We will live and die on his ability to improve his accuracy and make smart decisions. If we want to be a National Championship caliber team Dobbs HAS to throw better. Its just true.

We can run down everyone's throats, sure, but in order to be truly elite we have to have the threat of a good passing game and I don't want to see another season of our talented receiving corps going under-utilized. This will eventually effect our recruiting there as well.

This list is hard to come up with now-a-days, as I can think of at least 20 players who have that potential.

It's a great position to be in....

X-factors are usually unknown quantities (like the "x" in a math equation) that have the potential to be hugely significant...or maybe not at all.

Josh is a pretty well-known quantity. He will be important, hugely important, we already know this. There's only a little "x" (unknown) left to him. Such as, can he improve his throwing consistency? Otherwise, we don't really have to contemplate what he'll be.

I went with Kongbo. If he is a legit bookend to Barnett, who are the opponents going to double team? Still got K-Mac and King Tutt moving the middle. Not to downplay by any stretch, Vereen and Phillips in the rotation.

Secondary thought: I have a good feeling that we will see a different K-Mac this fall. A "he's arrived" type of performance improvement.

Often there's a quite before the storm. Get ready!

I like Kongbo as a pick, and can see him being that guy. Will he show up and be an enhanced and better DE than Barnett? That's why he does not get my pick here. Im going with Gaulden and Shoop putting him on the national stageas a player.

I went with Other ... aka ... Dormady.

Would love to see Butch roll a mix from time to time at QB. Not primarily, but to force DCs to have to game plan for Qs skillset. About 6-9 plays per game where D comes on with specific plays. Some, if not all, of those could feature Dobbs out at WR or in the backfield for screens or 1:1 route with a MLB etc.

I used to love early 2004' when we rolled with a DT and a PS quarterback rotating series. That was fun while it lasted. Who can name the starting QB, the last time that we beat Florida? :)

Coach Debord, call me quick or I'm gonna have to get back to my day job.

Brent Schaeffer to start the season and then Ainge started to take over before Schaeffer ultimately got hurt. I actually liked the two QB system as well. Its helps to have two QB's of that caliber to run it as well.

Went with JJ. I think he gets more reps and is a play maker depending on Dobbs improvement. Also he is a beast on kickoffs.

All of the previous choices are great choices that could potentially contribute in a big way. Here's one that I'm excited to see, well two actually. My official pick is Jason Croom! He could potentially be a huge new piece in the offense next year! The other is Jonathan Kongbo. Dude is going to be a beast!

Middle of the field was pretty wide open at times. Hope to see the TEs working the seam routes for nice gains.

Just guessing but I chose other. I think it will be someone not mentioned as much as those guys have this year so far. I don't know who but hopefully someone not mentioned explodes out of the gates this year.
