You apparently missed the Tider Insider during the 90s...watching meltdown after epic meltdown was second in the enjoyment factor only to beating their ass on the 3rd Saturday..šŸ˜šŸ˜ We had no idea how good we had it..

Trust me, a rabid fanbase is not an obstacle for a program to overcome, as long as the program is serious about winning...

This post is part of the problem. The goal at Tennessee is mediocrity. People who desire excellence should be frustrated. This fan base has excepted mediocrity on several levels and see no end in sight.

There is a reason why Nick Saban is a winner and it is because he does not except anything less than excellence. There is no excuse for failure.

Speak for yourself...I can gaurantee you that not one of those recruits gives a flying F what the fans say...They can see for themselves the UT coaches suck and thats why they decommit...Not because of what some joe blow from bucksnort tennessee has to say.

That's exactly what we're doing. When they wanted to destroy UT football by bringing their 'political message' before us we are reveling at the downward spiral. The masses aren't coming back. They've made a bed that cannot be slept in.

Pretty sure other coaches are saying. " hey you wanna play for a guy that after 3 years is 2-6 and setting records for loses or do you wanna compete and win" they don't need anything else to say

You must not read other forums if you think this is the only one that criticizes players and coaches. This forum is one of many from other schools who bash the coaches and some of the players. Even Saban and Kirby gets criticized. It's life; everyone is not going to always speak well of you. Imo we shouldn't be overly critical, however, that is just my opinion, everyone has the right to speak about their opinions either good or bad. And especially when the coaches are so well paid, maybe one of the reasons for high pay is the stress of being criticized. Every coach knows that criticism comes with coaching. Something Peyton Manning said once. He never wanted to be hc at UT because now most everyone thought well of him and he wanted to keep it that way. This comes with coaching anywhere.

Myself; personally if I was being criticized about my playing I would work that much harder to prove them wrong. That's what the really good players do. Michael Jordan did not even make varsity in high school; if I'm not mistaken until his junior year. But what did he do, he worked harder and became the great player he was. Had it been easy for him, he may have never became the great player that he was. Those that said he wasn't good enough just drove him that much harder.
