T-Wolves Official thread

i left Howard off by mistake, i thought i had him on there. All-Star voting is overrated just like it is in baseball. Durant is most certainly better than Amare. The guy can even reel in 10 rebounds per game. He gets dominated on defense which cancels out whatever he does on offense. Basketball is a two way game and he only does one of them good. and what does being soft have to do? Yao is still better than Amare. Ur team would get nowhere with a cancer as ur "superstar".
Durant, at this point in his career, is a guy who scores a bunch of points on an awful team. That makes him nothing more than a malnourished version of Zach Randolph.

Wolves acquired the #5 pick in the draft from the Wiz. sent Foye and Miller.
The Wizards must really be desperate to make the playoffs in '09-'10. As far as I'm concerned, that trade is the #5 pick for Randy Foye. Unless they're acquiring Miller to make him part of a larger package in another deal, he'll have a tough time getting on the floor in DC.

hope not he could easliy fall to them at 5. I wouldn't try to deal with Memphis because their asking price is really high.

So what happens w/ all those PGs? I assumed for now flynn is there in case they can't sign rubio/convince him to play in minn. If they do get rubio to agree to come, does flynn become trade bait?

Rubio is probly staying in Spaim for another year. Flynn will start next year and we should be able to know if he is the future or not. If he is then we could trade Rubio, if he's not then we trade Flynn.

If Khan drafted Rubio without assurances he would be in Minnesota in '09-'10, he should be fired immediately.

Why would you take someone in the Top 10 if your not 100% sure that the kid will even be there..

Agree with hat, if this is true he should be shown the door..

they're in no hurry to get him to minnesota. It doesn't make a difference if he comes this year or next year

Another boring season without much promise. Flynn looks like he won't be a true PG. There are certainly a lot of trading chips. If the ping pong balls fall in the Wolves favor tonight you could possibly see Rubio be traded for the #2 pick. With Wall and Turner in the backcourt you could see Flynn and Love moved for something.
