T-Wolves Official thread

Considering that Al is younger, cheaper, and has no baggage. We'd essentially be trading for a 1 year rental. not to mention that Al is a better rebounder, better scorer in the paint. Both suck at defense.
Al Jefferson has never seen the day, nor will he ever see the day, that he's a better inside scorer than Amare.

What baggage does Amare have? Jefferson is not better than Stoudamire in ins. scoring. Amare's a monster.

Kobe's the best player in the game, he has the right to complain if the team isn't up to his standards. Also Jefferson is one of the post scorers in the game.

Al vs. Amar'e in the last couple of years because it's clearly obvious that Amare is better

Yeah, because Amare has always gotten his fair share of shots in Phoenix. If you want to believe Jefferson is better, that's fine. There are 30 GMs in the NBA who would vehemently disagree, but that's alright.

You think GM's like Amare more than Al? David Kahn said earlier today that he thought Al was a better player. IDK maybe i'm a homer but Al is one of the more underrated players in the league.

They were guarding each other in each game, Amare's defense is almost non-existent.

I know at least 4 GMs who wouldn't trade one Amare for 3 Al Jeffersons. What is Kahn supposed to say? "My guy isn't as good as the other guy." The fact that the T-Wolves have to throw in the sixth pick in the draft to make the rumors even plausible should tell you something.

The rumor was made up by a guy in Boston. Maybe Danny Ainge but most people thought that a move like that would get Kahn fired. Would u care to tell me which GMs like Amare better?

I could name them, then they'd probably quit speaking to me. If you want to think a guy who simply put up numbers on an awful team is as good as one of the Top 15 talents in the NBA, that's your prerogative. That's the kind of evaluation that has gotten Minnesota where they are.

Since Kahn has been hired he hasn't been afraid to speak his mind to the media. I truly believe he meant what he said. Also from what i heard, the eye surgery Amare had was far more serious than Al's surgery.

no he isn't. Lebron, Wade, Bryant, Parker, Anthony, Billups, Paul, Deron Williams, Rondo, Boozer, Yao, Garnett, Duncan, Jefferson, Granger, Roy, Harris and Durant are all better than him.
The fact you have Al Jefferson and Carlos Boozer rated ahead of Amare obliterates your credibility. Having Rajon Rondo and Danny Granger on their doesn't help much, either.

I'm going to assume you mean Devin Harris. That's wrong as well. New Jersey loves him so much they are begging Memphis to take him and give them the two pick so they can take Rubio.

Dwight Howard is better, but he is not on your list, proving your list is worthless. Al Jefferson isn't. Neither is Rondo. Most certainly not Boozer. Danny Granger is overrated. Duncan's on the decline. Yao's too soft. Harris and Durant aren't even All-Stars yet.
Out of that list, I'd only take 24, 23, Flash, CP3, Williams, and a healthy KG over him, and if this was FIBA, I'd take Carmelo over him. Amare is a beast.

i left Howard off by mistake, i thought i had him on there. All-Star voting is overrated just like it is in baseball. Durant is most certainly better than Amare. The guy can even reel in 10 rebounds per game. He gets dominated on defense which cancels out whatever he does on offense. Basketball is a two way game and he only does one of them good. and what does being soft have to do? Yao is still better than Amare. Ur team would get nowhere with a cancer as ur "superstar".
