Very hot game in August for a Northern Team!

Mercedes Bend stadium is a climate-controlled stadium can be indoor or outdoor. I assume if its real hot outside it will be closed for indoor and 68 to 72 degrees playing indoor.

But I think he meant central time. As a West Tennessee flatlander, I don't like these noon kicks. Eleven am local time is entirely too early for football.

1st...ours is likely the best / most competitive game on the slate that day.

2nd...I had a feeling from.the get go.it would be a Noon game. I don't ever recall a.neutral site game on Labor Day weekend NOT being a Noon kick.

Last season Clemson vs UGA in Atlanta was a noon kickoff too. We’re the undercard on ABC that weekend with Bama vs FSU being more named programs, despite Syracuse being better than FSU last year (maybe this year) and obviously LSU at Clemson is a huge draw for the casual football fan for the night game.

I want to go as I have not been to Mercedes Benz Stadium before and can say I have seen Syracuse play in football.

I am with you there because you never really know what a team is until they get out on the field. If you believe that recruiting rankings matter, then UT has a huge roster advantage compared to cuse. Heupel's last 4 classes finished 11th, 14th, 10th, and 17th while Syracuse finished 41st, 37th, 88th, and 68th according to 247 https://247sports.com/season/2025-football/compositeteamrankings/ .

Yes, they beat some good teams last season. They are not the cupcake a number of posters on here seem to believe. Both teams have new QB's so anything can happen. Will be major disappointed if Vols don't beat them by 2 TD's but you never know in opening games.
