Both of those teams are not South Eastern and Arkansas, Oklahoma & Missouri will always be Southwest. All of those teams sans Texas Tech are in the same conference as other teams in the SEC but they'll never be Southeastern, just there for the money.

TBH, I'm not really sure why any Tennessee fan has a problem with Texas. And I'd rather Texas win over Texas Tech and Alabama, who was the 4th semi-finalist

I think it's stupid that UCLA had Tinsley on the team (who isn't even a great pitcher and gave up a ton of runs) but not Pickens or Marjetko.

Did you fail geography in school? Nobody on Earth believes The Plains are in the Southwest.

Phoenix, AZ is in the southwest, not Norman, OK or Columbia, MO ... or even Austin, TX.

I see both sides of this. You don’t like a conference foe winning a championship. However the SEC winning lots of championships is why they are afforded getting 10+ teams in the NCAAs, getting a regional bid with 13 baseball wins, and getting football bids they may not deserve.
Look at the football playoffs. The B10G winning several of the past year’s championships, and all of a sudden the SEC is no longer talked about (outside conference fans) as being the dominant conference.
Forget about recruiting against conference foes. A kid either wants the money you offer, or they go elsewhere. You think Kiffin convinced all those Ole Miss players they could win the championship or he convinced them his money spent just as good as anybody else’s.

I agree with this. But me wanting Texas to win had nothing to do with them being in the SEC.
