Both of those teams are not South Eastern and Arkansas, Oklahoma & Missouri will always be Southwest. All of those teams sans Texas Tech are in the same conference as other teams in the SEC but they'll never be Southeastern, just there for the money.I will never celebrate another SEC team winning anything.. **** both Texas Tech and Texas...
I see both sides of this. You don’t like a conference foe winning a championship. However the SEC winning lots of championships is why they are afforded getting 10+ teams in the NCAAs, getting a regional bid with 13 baseball wins, and getting football bids they may not deserve.Exactly....You compete against the other SEC teams on the field and the recruiting trail.
Do you not know college history, those teams were in the Southwest conference. The SWC was a conference formed in 1914 primarily composed of Texas area teams and dissolved in 1996. SMU, Texas , Baylor, Rice, TCU, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas Tech. come on, this is sports not a geography class, school has nothing to do with college sportsDid you fail geography in school? Nobody on Earth believes The Plains are in the Southwest.
Phoenix, AZ is in the southwest, not Norman, OK or Columbia, MO ... or even Austin, TX.
