Sweet Texas tech tears

I will never celebrate another SEC team winning anything.. **** both Texas Tech and Texas...
Both of those teams are not South Eastern and Arkansas, Oklahoma & Missouri will always be Southwest. All of those teams sans Texas Tech are in the same conference as other teams in the SEC but they'll never be Southeastern, just there for the money.

Does this mean our Pannel discussion is over? Next topic will be...spaghetti or spaghetti o's?
This is what you pay $750,000.00 for.
Taylor Pannell batted .000 (0-for-5) with three strikeouts across the two Women's College World Series Championship Finals games against the Texas Longhorns in 2026.

Did you fail geography in school? Nobody on Earth believes The Plains are in the Southwest.

Phoenix, AZ is in the southwest, not Norman, OK or Columbia, MO ... or even Austin, TX.

Exactly....You compete against the other SEC teams on the field and the recruiting trail.
I see both sides of this. You don’t like a conference foe winning a championship. However the SEC winning lots of championships is why they are afforded getting 10+ teams in the NCAAs, getting a regional bid with 13 baseball wins, and getting football bids they may not deserve.
Look at the football playoffs. The B10G winning several of the past year’s championships, and all of a sudden the SEC is no longer talked about (outside conference fans) as being the dominant conference.
Forget about recruiting against conference foes. A kid either wants the money you offer, or they go elsewhere. You think Kiffin convinced all those Ole Miss players they could win the championship or he convinced them his money spent just as good as anybody else’s.

Do you not know college history

Do you not know college history, those teams were in the Southwest conference. The SWC was a conference formed in 1914 primarily composed of Texas area teams and dissolved in 1996. SMU, Texas , Baylor, Rice, TCU, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas Tech. come on, this is sports not a geography class, school has nothing to do with college sportso_O its a misnomer.
