Sweet baby bearded jesus. You take a Trump gaffe as biblical truth but an Obama gaffe as a gaffe. Again..pull your head out of your ass...but you might need some help.

Trump even tweeted a clarification for all you morons.

A gaffe? How is it a gaffe? What was he trying to say?

He didn't clarify anything so you don't know. You have to guess at what he's talking about. If it is true that he was basing it on a FN story, here is what I think happened:

He saw a fox story about problems in Sweden. He's old, he wasn't really paying attention, and his attention to detail isn't good in the first place nor does he care about actual facts (or anything other than his ego, really).

His old, half-working mind turns a fox news story about some things that have been happening into something that happened that day.

It's not a gaffe. It's a misunderstanding of the world around him. He really thought there was a big incident.

MSM made suckers out of liberals again.

Not once was a terror attack mentioned in president Trump's speech in regards to Sweden.

I find hilarious that the liberal media reports something and the cows eat it up like silage.

Did you watch or listen to the speech? Of course not, the liberal media spoon feeds the liberals their thoughts because they know libs can't or will not think for themselves.

Another made up liberal meltdown.

As an alleged attorney do you ever investigate your cases?

Sheep.

Do you really think it was a lie or slip of words like has happen to most presidents?

It wasn't a slip of the words. I don't know that it's a lie, but if it's not, it's not a slip up...he really thought there was an incident.

He's not saying "I slipped up". He's saying "there was a fox story".

This is maybe even more troubling than a lie? Most politicians lie, but not many are too stupid to digest a cable news report.

He can be reckless when he speaks, but I'm pretty sure he can distinguish between an interview and a terrorist attack. It was just a sloppy use of words.

?

If he slipped up, he should say that. That's not his explanation.

He's clarified what he was referencing. Not sure what else he's supposed to do.

He just gave us a source of information. He didn't really clarify anything. We're left to fill in the gaps. Thus, you have your theory and I have mine.

This is what he meant to say :)

We've got to keep our country safe. You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening in Sweden, like the story last night on that propaganda network we all watch? Sweden, who would believe this?

Basically, the whole controversy is over what the words "last night" referred to. In context, it's pretty clear that he's not talking about a single incident.

Obama is a POS. So is Trump. It's time to get over Obama and live in the now.

Yeah right. So its all gravy that Obama got to blame Bush for every shortcoming. But oh because its Trump, well its all his fault and nobody elses. What a ****ing joke indeed.

Let me say overall you have convinced me that it may have been a gaffe, but I don't find this particular point very convincing...

If something indeed happened the night before, nobody would have found his wording strange. The correct English would have been "what's happening in Germany, what happened last night in Sweden", but in terms of commonly used language, people say "what's happening in Germany, what's happening last night in Sweden."

So I don't think you can determine from the context what he meant.

Fault for what? What on earth are you talking about?

I just called Obama a POS. Your comment indicates that was lost on you.

What's evident is that he s#its on the media for fake news and then cites a fox news story that is so full of poop its eyes are brown.

I mean, this guy sets the traps and then drunkenly and immediately falls into them.

Absolute buffoon.

He's got this thing where he speaks as if he's sitting at a bar complaining about stuff. Really wish he'd use the teleprompter more and slow down, but he lives and dies with sound bites. It's good for campaigning, but not as good an idea as President.

Somebody has to get in his face and shut down the ranting and I'm not sure that person exists.

You could give him the benefit of the doubt if he hadn't been spewing so much BS for so long.

Trumps not altogether wrong about the violence in Sweden.

Here is some security camera video and it's pretty terrifying. Be warned that this isn't appropriate for the workplace.
