All he did was take a rumor that was already out there and said that it was true. So yes, he has a chance of being right, but it is not because he actually know anything. I feel sorry for you if you are gullible enough to believe this clown.

I know Shannon is solid, but why is everyone so enamored with the idea of him. Other than he's probably a solid coach & recruiter, we had a great coach in Wilcox & great coach & recruiter in Sirmon. So, can you throw me some stats that make everyone enamored with Shannon as possibly the leader of a dominant, ferocious, well schemed D??

His numbers as DC at the U were legit. I would post them, but Wikipedia is not reliable right now...

Top 10 defense nationally in all but one season, I believe.

During Shannon's six years as UM's defensive coordinator, his defenses ranked as follows in total defense nationally:

2001 – 6th
2002 – 7th
2003 – 2nd
2004 – 28th
2005 – 4th
2006 – 7th

He has a good rep with south fl coaches/ players... Would help a ton with recruiting.. Kids love him

Now just sitting here chilling with Randy at the hotel. Getting ready to watch a little of the Andrew Luck bowl. Here is a photo he gave me of some dude he knew from Miami. This guy is going to take Sirmon's place as our new linebacker coach. Randy said something about that this guy already owns a bunch of land in East Tennessee.......beats me?

EDIT: That said, I have no idea if this kid is a legit insider or not? I don't know if he has really ever broken any news?
