I'll support his efforts to find another job. I'll even support him by helping load the truck.

I'll then thank him for the rebuild, and the recruiting...and support him leaving East Tennessee.

After what we've witnessed in his colossal blunders and the list of coaches that are quite likely available? No way. Five years is plenty. Strike while the iron is hot.

There is so much talent on this team that a proven head coach can take this team and win the East next year. This is the year to fire Butch. Every year has been the same thing with him.

There is enough talent that a suitable interim could rally us and get us back in the hunt. I think we can all agree Florida is likely not winning the East.

Butch ain't the one.

I said yesterday....we need to get out ahead if the rush. There are multiple SEC schools that will he looking for a new coach at the end if the season. We need to he first and not get the leftovers.

Nope. We have a 10-2 or 11-1 roster and a 7-5 coach. The right hire would right the ship quickly.

No one here is asking for perfection. That's a ridiculous assertion. Some of us are just asking for a team that isn't inept--a team that is coached up to its recruited talent rankings.

IMO, it would be gross negligence on Currie's part if he's not already putting out feelers through back channels.

I agree. Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Nebraska, possibly Notre Dame and Auburn. Vols need to start early this year

I agree, actually. I say we can Butch this week, promote a suitable interim, and take Chip Kelly for the biggest porterhouse one can find.

Honestly all are to blame. Players shouldn't have been put in that position however they were and failed to execute. We had a chance yet there is plenty of blame to go around. I still support butch and our guys even the ones riding the pine. We lost. I want to see how we play Georgia lsu and nama
