If this series was played under the format used a few years ago (game 1 Friday, game 2 Sat, and game 3 right after if necessary), then I would put UT's chances at 60/40.

But now that they do the three day schedule, Barnhill will start on Friday, be used on Sat if needed, and then start Sunday if necessary. Best thing to hope for is rain cancels Friday and then they play two games on one day. Florida's pitching depth is not great.

I'm leaning 60/40 Florida, with Barnhill getting the win on Friday, and then Sat will be a toss up. If UT can force a Sunday game, anything can happen.

EDIT - not a drop of rain in the forecast for Gainesville, so advantage Florida.

Every year the SEC seems to have a bunch of teams, this year every team, in the NCAA SB Tournament, unfortunately, that is the price for being good. Florida can be beat and we have the tools to get it done. This would be a nice time for our players to get on a positive roll, especially on offense.

I understand this, but still there are still a few other teams out there. Just seems that every year we make it this far, we end up facing another SEC team.

They will do what they did in the Sec tournament unless we hit her hard she will pitch every inning in the series this is her last go round in collage and Walton will ride her hard. He will take no chance of this going to a third game is he can help it. Hopefully we give them a head and heartache.

Yep and I would love to deny Barnhill another WWS appearance. We have not hit well enough the last 2 months to deserve going but Leach and Matty and the other seniors deserve the trip I think!

Will we start on time? LSU vs MN is playing now but don't know the inning.

It says our game is streaming on the espn app.

I've gone to watchespn.com & I'm watching things start up.
