Suns vs Lakers series thread

They have to pock a poison. Both are awful options when the opponent is making shots. Man's better but theirs is still awful, improved as it may be.

Yes, but any decent NBA coach would have realized that it was a gimmick that could only work for a game or two. Sooner or later, you pay for it in this league, so you need to know when to scrap it. Around the 20th time the defense was giving up wide open shots and offensive boards galore, Gentry should've realized this.

No argument, but he is trying to take advantage of LAs lack of a PG that can break it down.

God I hate Kobe. I know he's good, but how many shots can he pull out of his ass?

Yes, I'm bitter.

Kobe is a killer, anytime the Suns grabbed the momentum, the Lakers answered.

Celtics vs Lakers...let me be the first to vomit.

And, of course, Kobe can drill a 22 foot twisting fall-away jumper with a guy in his face, but misses the free throw. Ugh.

Celtics-Lakers? I'm not sure I can stomach it. I might just have to wait for the World Cup.

Was a good series in the day though. I think it would be good now too.

Oh well, the series went about how I thought a week and a half ago. Too much height and length for the Lakers, plus the best player in the league. Not a good match up for the Suns. I still think the Lakers are very vulnerable, but the Suns were not the right match up to take advantage.

Adios, Steve Trash. Maybe when Amare bolts, you can get Kerr to sign Dirk for a Career Losers Reunion Tour.

I'll first say that I'm proud of the Suns for the great season and good playoff run, it's sad to have Steve and Grant miss the Finals yet again. Anyways I'll give credit where it's due, so congrats Lakers on winning the Western Conference.

I'm a Nash fan, so it does for lack of a better word suck. I don't really care if it affects you at all.
Yeah, it sucks horribly that the career leader in playoff game without a Finals appearance isn't going to the big stage. Kind of like crying about the Mississippi River continuing to flow.

Don't sweat it, one of the greatest ironies in the world is hat's ubiquitous use of the word "trash" to describe people. It's like the self-righteous preacher railing against homosexuality only to get busted in a subway bathroom stall.

Who u want to win the finals?

Probably the Celtics, although, on a personal level, I hate Rasheed Wallace more than all the players combined on the Lakers. Hating Kobe is due to him just being good, while Wallace is an out and out a-hole.

Don't care. Want it to be good. Both teams have exploitable issues and meaningful weaknesses. It'll be interesting to see who takes advantage.

If Boston's age doesn't cream them, this will be a good series.

The Lakers have the X Factor. 24 is the best player the league has seen since MJ.

No doubt about it and Boston doesn't have a defender that matches up even a little bit.

If Tony Allen were 100%, the Celts would have a much better chance. Kobe hates Ray Allen and takes it out on him. I'd put Nate Robinson occasionally on him just to pester him.

Allen was all I could think of, but he's such a loose cannon that extended minutes are unlikely.

Vujacic is a professional pesterer, unfortunately, he can't play a lick.
