The Suns run the zone because of all of the above reasons, but it boils down to Nash not being able to guard Fisher, Amare not being able to guard Gasol or Bynum, and Kobe not being able to be guarded by only one man.

I like the Suns at home tonight...I look for them to get a big game from someone not named Steve/Amare...I'm going with Barbosa...Suns 109-Lakers 104.

Barbos with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists...just for fun.

I pick Barbosa as an X factor and he has played awful...missed a few easy shots and has played iffy on the defensive side of the ball.

Seriously, why is Gentry staying with the zone? Nash wasn't out there. Neither was Kobe or Gasol. The Lakers are raining wide open threes on them. The Suns second team matches very well with the Lakers and Gentry is pissing it away.

My god, do something different you f-ing moron!!!!! You know, something besides the same crap zone that's giving wide open looks, allows for the defense to lose men on the rebound and lets incompetants like Artest to light you up. Top top it off, maybe you will give some of that rah-rah BS, as usal, instead of real coaching. I think I counted 7 coaching cliches in that timeout.

They have to pock a poison. Both are awful options when the opponent is making shots. Man's better but theirs is still awful, improved as it may be.
