I like it. Stats are a little inflated due to the level of competition, but I’ll be super impressed if we continue to average 30+ points per game in SEC play.

Those offensive stats are about to take a huge nosedive as we enter SEC play
Not necessarily. Depends on how bad the offense actually sucks. SEC isn't stacked with stellar defenses.

So let's say UT struggles heavily against Georgia and similarly with Bama and Florida. That still leaves 5 SEC games. Who is the next best defense (honest question)?

There is nothing about any other defensive unit that makes me think UT will struggle mightily to put up points. By no means do I suggest they win all those 5 games, but its not like the offense has been so stellar that the stats are massively inflated.

Terrible. Leading rusher at 80 yards a game and that is against 2 of the worst teams you will see.
I don’t think it is terrible when you consider we are averaging 223 yards rushing per game (669 total) and 4.6 yards per carry. We have had 5 RBs carry the ball in addition to 3 QBs.

Evans, who did not play against Pitt, averages 5.2 yards per carry and Small, who did not play against TT, averages 4.5 yards per carry.

edit. I know the defenses have not been good, but we are about to find out a lot about our offense.

Love to see numbers with qb rushing subtracted.

Most of the other SEC teams have not been play league championship teams either. I know, a couple have but most have had it easy in 2 of their 3 games.

I imagine you are right. My point is we should have crushed the run game against those teams. We didnt. How do you think it will go against SEC defenses....

Honestly everyone in the SEC has played two cupcake games and one good opponent so far regardless if from the SEC or not. Our stats are right their with Florida if not better in some aspects. Idk but this is starting to smell like an upset to me.
