Statistical Predictors- Mizzou vs. TN

That game was a damn disaster in regards to competent officiating! Missou beat them in every way possible and the refs called a ******** PI in the endzone on the last play and gave Kentuk one untimed down. HORRIBLE screw job.

The SEC and CBS needed Caintuck to win because the following week the played UGA for the chance to go to Atlanta. That seriously was the most obvious screw job I've seen in sometime. I do think if I were Barry Odum it's likely I would be out of a job for smacking the head ref. At minimum I would have been severely fined for calling them out in the post game press conference.

Unfortunately, you can't look at their prior predictions. I can say that for basketball, its predictions, especially late in the season, are eerily accurate.

So they don’t share their overall record or history? That’s disappointing and somewhat suspect.

Correct. I will take a screen shot of the predicted scores for each SEC team, including the good guys. The Realtime RPI predicted score seems high- 32 points for Fizzou, especially given the Vols solid defensive play. Likewise the predicted 31 points for the Vols, seems high, given that they have only scored 30 once all season.

On paper, we might lose to Mizzou. That is why the game is played on grass.

I hear people predicting a narrow loss??

Nah....were going to shut down that offense down.

The Mizzo game will be predictive of whether or not be wi finish 7-5 this season and 9-3 in 2019. By the prickling of my thumb, some orange this way comes.

Oddshark has us losing by 3 which indicates they believe it will be close. We might be outmatched tomorrow but I don't think we'll be outplayed, Vols pull this one out IMO.

Throw out the record books. The Good Guys have a lot to fight for. Heart, desire and hunger count more than static measures.

I really hope we bring the fight today. I think we can be an upset team if we play with the passion and momentum from the Kentucky game. It'll be interesting because usually players, seniors in-particular have a lot to fight for the last home game.

If we replicate the way we played last game then I have us winning but if we come out flat in the first half then I believe we'll take the L.

At least Old Pete lived through the war. Stonewall...... ouch, shot by his own men. (Actually, Longstreet was shot in the hand by his own men too.) Civil war buff here. :)

Good guys...you do realize East Tennessee was Union country, right? :)

The first one assigns Mizzou a probability of winning of 51.8%....which means it predicts pretty much a coin toss. I like the Vols at home if the predictor is even.
