No doubt the offensive line is probably the most important offensive unit for our success (or failure) this season. I said that the qb situation is a critical one (not most critical).
Not to be a wise a$$ but, the coaches have a different video of the game with wider camera angles. If there is people wide open they will point it out to Simms and coach him up. Sometimes when someone looks wide open on tv they actually aren't.Dont know how he would play, but I was very surprised at how big Nance is when he walked by me during the Vol walk...that kid is tall and thick.
I rewatched the game last night and geez we had tight ends open all night long...on the deep ball to Zach Rogers that he caught, Rivera was WIDE open down the middle of the field for an easy TD and there were several other plays as well...
If Simms can learn to just go through one progression, we might have a chance to stretch the field...of course we will have to pass block much better as well.
