That was really disappointing. Can't believe they pulled a bait and switch on everyone like that... Hopefully they'll release the actual new trailer in the coming weeks.

I don't know why, but seeing storm troopers on a tropical beach just seems...wrong! I think it's because the environment doesn't look otherworldly enough for me. It just looks like Panama or Jamaica. guess I'll have to give myself time to get used to the idea but I wish they would've gone to greater lengths to make this location look more like it's actually on a different planet. At least Lucas would take real world locations and then spice them up to make them feel like they were truly worlds in another galaxy. I had the same problem with some of the locations in The Force Awakens.

I stopped drinking and having fun and sat through Wheel of Fortune and that ABC Force Awakens Special..for nothing..

I think Vader is going to be more like the Emperor in TESB. More of a looming figure over the broader story. 2 scenes at most.

In the teaser for the teaser that NBC is showing. Is that Donnie Yen that I'm seeing holding a staff in the middle of a pile of stormtroopers?

Its early but I think Alan Tudyk's droid character is going to be my favorite. We finally get a droid that could be a potential bad ass in fights.

I didn't realize Naz from The Night Of is one of the leads.

And Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline) and Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal) are in it too? Man this is great cast.
