Their founder was a member of the Nazi party. Is that un-woke enough for you?![]()
Try to see if from an American athlete’s perspective. What billionaire American athlete wore Adidas? Kids want to be like Mike. Tiger pulled it off, too.You think wearing Nike makes you more of a man? If so, kudos to their marketing dept
Probably. I grew up in the US. When I was a kid, you may as well ask a boy to wear Keds as to put on Adidas. That was always a flopping, injury faking European brand.Do they really feel like less of a man for wearing Adidas? That was your claim
I watched Manning wear it. I watched UT win the national championship in it. I'm not going to tell 27 he was less of a man because of a logo on his jerseyProbably. I grew up in the US. As a former soccer player, I envision you as being a terrible athlete for some reasonProbably. I grew up in the US. When I was a kid, you may as well ask a boy to wear Keds as to put on Adidas. That was always a flopping, injury faking European brand.
There’s a reason our country’s best athletes don’t play soccer.
Not nearly as laughable as saying kids don’t prefer Nike over Adidas when it has been the number one selling sports brand for at least the past 40 years. Not as laughable as denying branding isn’t important when the article we’re debating states just that. Not all were recruited then and that claim is laughable. The early 2000s teams also wore it. Guys like Witten
Your claim was that it is emasculating not that they simply prefer one brand over another. It's more likely they'll prefer cash over both. That's the real argumentNot nearly as laughable as saying kids don’t prefer Nike over Adidas when it has been the number one selling sports brand for at least the past 40 years. I’m sorry for your argument that Adidas couldn’t land Michael Jordan or Bo Jackson in the 80’s, but Nike out did them and there’s real consequences for not being associated with the best. To deny that is a joke.
We were national champions when we recruited Witten. We don’t have that going for us this time around.
ugh, different skill sets.I’d have been all state in soccer. Those kids couldn’t make the basketball team.

FILAS grew and declined along with Grant Hill’s popularity. Who wears Adidas?
