I don't think I would want O'Neill again. He's a good coach, but he's also got Larry Brown Syndrome, can't stay in one place for more than 2-3 years.
And, it seems as though hat has reverted back to his "Bruce Pearl is dog crap as a coach" commentary in order to win a tit for tat argument, yet I will note that Pearl has 5 times as many appearances in the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament than does O'Neill. Of course, the natural response is that O'Neill has been left utter garbage in his career, but it also illustrates a reason I would prefer Pearl. Both can revitalize a program, but only one has proven he will stick around to coach his rehabilitation project.
