Source inside says CBP is gone. (rumor)

I guarantee I know a whole Hell of a lot more of those than you do and most of them would have been perfectly happy if Jim Livengood had stuck to his word.

Doubtful I know plenty and most didn't like him. Either way it still doesn't change the fact that he is a tad overrated. He is good in some aspects of the game, but isn't good at others. He was always best suited as an assistant coach because he certainly has great strengths but a ton of weaknesses.

You should stick to telling everyone how loaded a team that had three guys, two of whom were hurt most of the year, capable of doing anything more than playing dead was.

You should stick to defending a guy that has never done anything in his career. 1 season where he went to the Sweet 16. You would think by the third season he could do something, let's see what he has done when he left Marquette.

UT: 11-16
Northwestern: 5-25

No matter what you say, he's not that great of a coach. I found him very likable when he was in Knoxville, but he has never been that great of a head coach. I think he is a great assistant coach because like I said he has some great strengths, however he is not a well-rounded coach. And Arizona was a hell of a lot better than 19-15 that year and 8-10 in the Pac-10.

Yet, he keeps getting great jobs. No stops in sewers like Southern Indiana or UW-Milwaukee. Also, call me when someone in the NBA hires Pearl as a head coach. Hell, call me if anyone lets him work in arena maintenance.

1. Doesn't use body paint.
2. No weepy interviews with Seth Davis or Jimmy Dykes.
3. Roberta has never compared KO to Christ.

1. Try... he's always been stubborn to change his style to fit his team.

2. Offense has always been lacking under O'Neill

I bet that's why they were so much better the last two years. KO was holding great players like Nick Wise and Jermelle Horne back.

So because he has gotten a job makes him a good coach? Show me results... waiting.

Yeah, UT should have been running and gunning with Steve Hamer, Damon Johnson, and Shane Williams. Great idea. That would have been a great style for that bunch. A point guard who couldn't hit the damn pitchback net with passes in practice is exactly the guy I want pushing the ball.

Did I say that? He's not a good coach just get over it, you cannot back it up with anything other than he got hired by this school even though he sucked it up while there. At Arizona fans were pissed that he stuck with his man to man defense and "grind it out offense" because neither was what that team was suited for.

But I guess willing to give him a second chance is?
Pretty much. Shoot me a message if you're in Arizona this spring. I'll invite you to dinner with the head of the Arizona basketball booster club. I'll let you get his opinion of KO over some beer and spring training baseball.

Will do, I can't pass up some Cubs ST baseball. Usually try to attend 2 Cub ST games every year. Since you offered, are you buying :)

I'm shooting for a weekend where I can see two games, and the only one that looks good is Mar. 18th and 20th. Usually try to go to Blue Adobe Grille when I'm out that way.

That's an NCAA Tournament weekend, but who knows.

Have you spent much time in Mesa? I usually go with a few Cub fans to Blue Adobe and have hit up one of the local Mexican restaurants that the locals brag about. Just wondering if there were any other places worth eating at.
