I talked to a big booster the other night also and said that the NCAA is getting ready to lower the boom and Pearl will be gone. This guy played football there in the early days and puts alot of money in the football and basketball program.

We need to keep Bruce. Look when he showed up we might as well have been on probation with no sholarships. Remember how bad we were? Keep him, take the hit on the chin, and let him pull us out. Alot of people on this board are too quick to turn on our coaches(and players). Who would take this job if we fired him? You dont fire your coach unless you KNOW you can get someone better, and quite frankly, we cannot do that at this time.

All I have to say is we are going to be punished regardless as to wheather Bruce is here or not. So, with that being said. If Bruce is indeed suspended for 1 year, then we wait it out, let Tony coach a season and then bring him back. Personally if he's suspended for a year, scholarships are taken and we are banned from post season play, that will go down in the record books as the most exaggerated, overblown punishment ever. The man lied about a secondary violation and the next day admitted he lied. I'm not saying it wasn't wrong, but it is ridiculous to blow it up this much. Anyway, back to my original point. If he is suspended for a year and Mike Hamilton indeed fires him then Mike Hamilton should have a 2 in 1 news conference. 1st part talking about letting go of Coach Pearl, 2nd part that he (Mike Hamilton) is resigning. But that's just my opinion.

My favorite part of that game was in the postgame press conference when Green admitted he didn't know Brendan Haywood had fouled out.

Just a personal opinion, but those teams really weren't suited for the style Kevin runs. Also, he had a ton of talent at Arizona, but he never did anything with it. Kevin is a tad bit overrated as a coach.

Yeah, he was the coach at Arizona for one whole year, which Jerryd Bayless spent most of playing on one leg and Jordan Hill was hurt more often than not. Real loaded bunch.
