There is a guy with 510 wins, who filled in one year in the SEC for Florida. He won the NIT. This guy was 204-137 at Tennessee and led Tennessee to its first Sweet 16. He is the most honest guy you could have-squeaky clean. He played with Bobby Knight, coached under him with Coach K. He had 11 20 game seasons. He coached guys like Dale Ellis and David Robinson. Give him a year and he could take this team and make a run at the NCAA

Shay stomping around and flailing his arms like an obese 10 year old who's just been denied an extra piece of pie didn't help the situation.

Unfortunately, that guy is no longer the coach due to poor ability to recruit elite players. He was a good floor coach, but had lots of trouble with the shot clock.

If not Devoe, Bobby Knight could come in. What this team needs is a hard ass disciplinarian to jerk a knot in their butts and make them play defense and work for good shots.

All the years Devoe was at Tennessee, he didnt have the talent combined that Pearl has, yet he managed to average 19 wins a year. I really think Pearl let success go to his head. Divorce and remarriage, partying, the pic with Erin Andrews, trying to act the age of the players has caused him to slip a little. He has done a great job, seems like an ok guy, but this team needs someone they take seriously.
