Sounds like the players took last season to heart

It's amazing that we can't get any good news without the same idiots coming on here and spewing the same bull**** over and over again.

It's amazing to me people think a HC admitting it took him two years to figure out how to discipline a team is looked at as a good thing.

2 years to figure he needs to work harder and be more disciplined. And people actually wonder why some of us are disgusted by him. I hope he succeeds because I want UT to succeed, but can't see it.

Put your hand on a bible and say that out loud.

Define "succeed" in terms related to this up coming seasons record.

7 - 5, 8 - 4, 6 - 6, 9 - 3???????

A. That's not what the OP said

B. I think the "good thing" people are looking at in this thread are the players working hard and getting ready for next season

First big-time job for him. No way he knew coming in what it took. You have a problem with him figuring it out?

Like 119 other FBS teams are doing?

It doesn't take much to get everyone here excited I see.

All this talk is great, but it goes out the window once the season starts. Win ball games.

Since, I thought this was going to be a thread that turned some positive discussion, I might as well give it a shot to explain what Dooley actually meant.

In year 1 or year 2 there was no accountability with the guys that are now Juniors. They knew that Dooley couldn't come in and say, "Da'Rick your butt is on the bench, and I'm putting Zach Rogers there." The seniors couldn't hold them accountable because the seniors sucked, no offense. It's pretty obvious now that accountability is within reach.

If Bray wants to be lazy (this is just for illustrative purposes only, no implication) then he knows a guy behind him has experience.

If Da'Rick Rogers or Justin Hunter want to be lazy, they know Cordarrelle and a host of WRs behind them can step up in their place.

If any of the offensive linemen want to be lazy or lack discipline, then there is finally a 2 deep in place at each position that will take their spot.

I'm sure Bray is worried about Worley beating him out. He probably watches those Arkansas and USCe films and considers transferring.

I don't think he will figure it out is the problem. His talk is worthless.

So your beef was with everyone being too excited for your liking? Makes perfect sense.

You do realize it's the off season, right? Guess what gets talked about in the off season. Hint: it deals with the off season.

Glad to hear about all of this. If everyone, including the coaches, take this mindset all the way through to the fall, this could be the season where we explode onto the scene.

i look into my glass and see at least and this is at least a 10-2 season sec east champs
