For me it would be aroma, richness, and then flavor notes. I prefer smokey with a hint of chocolate and some a little bitterness.

I also judge coffee by how it tastes after it's had a few minutes to cool. Some coffees taste amazing right after brewing, but then taste like stale Maxwell House 5 minutes later.

Oh ok, right. I guess I had never separated aroma and richness from flavor. lol

And good point about the temperature.

@NorCalVol67 I just ordered a variety pack of Peet's dark roast kcups. I've had the Major Dickason's Blend, but none of the others (I think). I'm excited to try them.

So……a new neighbor stopped and asked me about his front door. I look like a contractor I guess. So I walked up there and fixed it. No big deal. The movers had messed it up and the hinges were stripped. They wanted to pay me but I passed. It took 5 minutes. No biggie.

They stopped me today and gave me this. They said they just wanted to say thanks. I think the new people from California get me.

I can only imagine.

Perhaps at some point they will realize that skeet shooting is like fly fishing - in fact, skeets are the only things that die, so it is a far gentler (if noisier) sport.

— maybe you should tell them that you have an Invisible Friend who has come (somewhat) to terms with this particular bit of Southern culture. It has gotten terribly hard to reach across the divide, and it helps to know that others have done it
