I’m not a coffee aficionado like y’all, @82_VOL_83 just told me that lighter roasts have more caffeine so I lean that way. I’m only in the coffee game for the energy boost. But this stuff is good.

@NorCalVol67 I just ordered a variety pack of Peet's dark roast kcups. I've had the Major Dickason's Blend, but none of the others (I think). I'm excited to try them.

—oh, and be sure to check the roast dates, if they’re shown. When we bought the whole bean bags, they went on sale as the clock was ticking. Amazon is a notorious dumping ground for oldish and downright expired groceries

For me it would be aroma, richness, and then flavor notes. I prefer smokey with a hint of chocolate and some a little bitterness.

I also judge coffee by how it tastes after it's had a few minutes to cool. Some coffees taste amazing right after brewing, but then taste like stale Maxwell House 5 minutes later.
