A week later and I've already ordered and received 2 more bags of the Cafe Verona Dark Roast Decaf. Good stuff imo.

OK as I said in here before, I'm not that picky about coffee.
I am good as long as it's a dark roast, and I also make it strong.
So for the first time in my life, I just bought some Starbuck's coffee at the grocery store.
I went in there to get a few things and planned on getting just a 25 oz. can of Folgers in dark ($5).
I got one of those, and they had the 12oz bags of Starbuck's for $5.99 (regular $9.99).
I bought two bags of the Sumatra. It says dark roast on it.
I will probably brew a pot here later.
I'm good on coffee for a while.

Sumatra is good, not one of my favorites but good. Walmart has it for $5.73 and my Publix is $9.99 and they run it on sale about every 3 weeks for $6.99.

This is exactly where I am too, man. Dad had to come off the caffeine when he was about 75.
Edit: and he swore he could never/would never do decaf, but he does and likes it aok

Don't blame you. I mixed a canister today that was a whole 12oz bag of the decaf and half a 12oz bag of regular. It tastes good I just have to wait to see if that's cut enough.

I like the Starbuck's Sumatra a lot. I made it strong. I will buy it again when I run out of what I have.
The store I went to today didn't have a very good selection. My wife said she used to buy the Espresso Roast (Starbuck's) and take it to work when she would make coffee at work before she got sick.
I don't stop for coffee at restaurants around here often because it's so early when I have to go in to school, but I think the Bojangles around here has pretty good coffee. I don't know if that's everywhere or not.
