Pretty much summed it up. No real floor general and connected soldiers. Not a lack of effort, nor a lack of character on the individual level, but just don’t know instinctively what the other guy is going to do. That especially shows up in those turnovers while unselfishly passing the ball. Breaking to create a lane a bit late and then the pass a bit late, out on top and entry passes. Doing the right thing, just marginally at the wrong time. Don’t know how to coach instinct modification. Not bad teammates, but bad teamwork. I hate it when a good plan with good players simply does not come together.

We're about to have probably 2 more losses to have a 3 game losing streak. The 2 after at home (Auburn and Ole Miss) are must wins, we drop those and the season spirals.

Obviously a rebuilding year. I guess I never knew how good our past players really were until now.

Lull periods, no real take over the game mentality guy on offense or defense guy.
We had two for 4 years, Z and Mashack) add to that (Knecht & Lanier & Gainey)

Big holes to fill with the youth and newbies.

Will this team evolve at the right time or will they still be trying to find themselves

Boswell has been the real surprise

NIL can fix any position in need but somebody has to lead the way and coaching makes a difference especially in game. We had 2 coaches on the floor.

Actually turnovers and untimely missed FTs are the difference. Everyone is overanalyzing it. That's my take anyway.

They played at an extremely high level in the SEC tournament. We played them better in the SEC tournament final than almost everyone they played in the NCAA tournament. Suppose? 😉. We were extremely close to absolutely peaking from the SEC tournament until the letdown in the regional final. That might have been Barnes' best coaching job of his career. We weren't talent laden with our inside players nor did we have any depth there. We were elite on the perimeter with a big game player coming off the bench. Our inside presence was Felix and Cade . That was pretty much it

Reminds me of Mark Richt. Rick Barnes has lost control of this program.

Rick barnes belonged at Providence. It's a shame we had the true dynasty forming under Pearl and the Barnes experienced has now lost steam.

I think that we had the NCAA death penalty forming under Pearl.

He had such a dynasty forming that we got beat by 30 in the first round of the NCAA tournament in his last game coaching the Vols. Barnes' had lost control of the program? Must have been that bad vodka last night
