What is your opinion on Shaka Smart and V.C.U.? Would you love him to come coach U.T., because UMass beat them this year. In fact, UMass beat 5 tournament teams this year. You don't think they were good?

How dare you point this out sir! Everyone knows St. Bruce never lost to a team he should have beaten. Everyone also knows it was the admins fault he lied. Everyone knows Bruce's only NCAA violation was a BBQ. You sir need to keep your facts out of this discussion.

An 11 seed, 14 seed, 2 seed.

Not exactly a star-studded region there according to your standards...

Look, I didn't sign that dumb petition or ever believed that Pearl would be rehired by the administration. But my standard is apparently much higher than yours. There may be 5 or 6 teams in the country that we will never match because of tradition and other reasons, but there is no reason we should have to settle for being a perennial bubble team, one and done in the NIT or a middle of the pack SEC team. I just hope this sweet 16 starts a trend and not be a flash in the pan.

Well.....what do you think? Will they win 20? Will they get an SECT bye? Are you going to happy if they are on the bubble again or make the NIT in year 4? Whatever floats your boat will work.

This is the first time I have been able to respond since I started this thread. Looking at the original post I didn't think what I said was that bad. It was a legitimate question. It certainly wasn't bad enough to be called something as petty as a high-schooler to something as vulgar as a pr*ck. Some of you need to grow up.

I don't know if you've been around these parts very long, but it's just been a constant flip-flop over the past month or so. One minute people hate the guy, the next they love him, and now they hate him again. It's absolutely absurd. Fickle fans are fickle

Mighty Memphis is one of a handful of schools to log 4 straight sweet 16s and one of an even smaller group of schools to do it twice (82/83/84/85 and 06/07/08/09)

Don't try to compare your lousy program to ours when it comes to NCAA tournament success.

Lol he was, he committed to UT more than once. When he shot things down he decided to stay close to home, that's recruiting for ya. Memphis and also thought Stokes was there's, so there's that.

And no, none of the Lawson's or Skal are headed to Knoxville, but if I was Josh his fans keep making the excuse there's too many egos with Memphis kids, he might wanna stop taking em.

I'm a huge Armani Moore guy. His shot is so broken though. If cuonzo can help him knock down mid range pull-ups (like he did with j-rich before) i think he can be a quality rotation guy next season.
