Then there are the 3 year old babies who do not seem to understand the difference between objective criticism and "bashing". And of course those who cling only to the critical comments someone makes ignoring the compliments and praise they give.

Jones is right. This is a GREAT fanbase including those that you dismiss as "dumb".

Great fanbases HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS. Get used to it.

I hightly doubt that any player that has been "bashed" recently according to the OP is going to lose one minute of sleep over comments here at VN.

Reader, I appreciate your support and prayers for my daughter that you posted on my thread a week or so ago. That said, you come off as the most condescending and self righteous poster on the is board.

Sidenote: UT and every other big time program signs guys every year that never become more than ST's contributors or even scout team players. The quality of those two things can often mean the difference in a team. BUT... when those kids were rated 4/5* players then they get called busts and such.

If Blair was a solid scout team player and contributed on ST's... then he earned his keep if the team as a whole has improved. You CAN'T improve without those guys.

I can't believe I am agreeing with ReaderVol. I don't have a problem with getting after the staff but don't really like it when the players are targeted. Everyone isn't a future NFL All-Pro and the coaches choose who is on the field for a reason.

No it's not bashing. Whether or not a player has performed up to expectations is a legitimate topic for discussion.

If Blair hangs around, please consider turning him into a guard. I don't believe he will ever have the footwork or quickness to play tackle.
