So proud of my home state

I don’t either. But you do it in front of minors you deserve to have your tucked back sack cut off. It’s the whole removal of masculinity in this country that’s scary. Bunch of chick making dudes in here.

Dude, if I want to put on a wig, dress, high heels and walk down 2nd ave in Nashville it ain’t going to hurt the first kid.

Until I trip and fall on one because of the high heels of course.

Nope. You admitted to being okay with bastardizing the constitution in the name of playing offense.

You aren't an actual conservative.
Bastardizing the constitution. Kinda like Roe v Wade or the Unafordable Care Act? Stretched those two pretty far didn’t they?

I’m fine with people dressing in whatever they want to. I know it’s also a slim section of people but the ones that allow their children to attend drag shows, pretty sick. Pretty rare as well. Like I said there are bigger fish to fry in this state than trans individuals. As adults do whatever you want. Drag shows in front of kids is one thing but dragging your sketchy a$$ in high heels down the road is benign.

Roe V Wade isn't a viable argument. I can agree with you on the ACA.
Of course it is. RBG said it herself. They would re examine their decision because they stretched the bill of rights to stuff it in. Now since it’s been taken out what a $hit show the GOP has made of it but that’s another argument.

I think it’s already illegal in TN to take a kid to a sex or sexually explicit show so what’s the purpose of this bill? We already have public indecency laws so again what’s the purpose of this bill?

I am BEYOND Conservatism friend. Conservatives played nice for the last 60 years and it got us nowhere. THAT was the message that the base delivered when they gave us Trump. I despise Trump but I understand the frustration that gave him to us.
Tough times make for strange alliances. Even Churchill decided to do business with Stalin when faced with an even worse alternative.

Optics. Sexton and crew have a lot more to focus on than this bill. Waste of time.

I remember this debate. If it was so bad why weren’t there charges levied against the parents and the performers? The existing laws didn’t work because they weren’t enforced just like this law won’t.
I see your point. But on a practical level, even if the Governor signs, this bill is too vague to survive even the most preliminary court challenge. So it is a moot point if we are discussing enforceability.
It will however bring in plenty of campaign donations for both sides. The main practical effect will be to generate some effective clips for Republican campaign ads of Democrats reflexively defending Drag Shows for Kids.

Good Lord. Bill Lee. Talk about milquetoast. He is neither hot nor cold but lukewarm.
