Indianapolis is 39 46. Not exactly a lot of separation there. I imagine the Southern border of the city is more in line with realUT's take on the matter.

How does it feel to get sent packing in the NCAA tournament by a team from a university 'only known for football' as your signature puts it?

Of course, being 'known' for anything would be a start for Bultler. Tonight could be your big start on that. You're now known as the team the Vols sent packing.

First off, Wikipedia is a source for middle-schoolers. Secondly, from your own "source":

here's the problem with that: I don't give a rat's arse about the M-D line. Change the topic all you'd like, but your small conference, shoddy schedule playing squad needed to win today for some respect and national relevance. That didn't work out and now it's back to obscurity and screaming for some attention. Given your departures after this season, I'll expect to hear from you again in about 15 years when you're again griping about a 10 seed.

On Saturday, these trolls wanted to yammer about their basketball brilliance...now that their season's over, geography and grammar are the topics du jour.

I'll be glad when the Louisville fans get to the board. It'll be fun to interact with fans from a school with a real basketball tradition.

I wouldn't be so sure. They aren't pushovers unlike some other schools. You know, like a school that has the most unoriginal mascot in the nation. A school that starts with a B. Ends with an -utler. Sucks at basketball. Ringing any bells?

Why name a university Butler? I mean how would they know from the onset that the best their graduates could do would be to serve others.

being located in Indiana does not qualify as tradition, but I hate discussions about tradition. I'm about the here and now. Butler is a decent mid major. Congrats. Butler is now finished for this season because they lost a game that you incoorectly told us they would win. Your tradition, for now, bought you a front row seat at the local BW3 for the remainder of the tourney.

1. TN is split into 3 parts: East, Middle, West.
2. East TN voted NOT to secceed from the Union.
3. Knoxville, home to the Vols, is in East TN.

Try something other than Wikipedia. The Mason-Dixon line is the border between Pennsylvania and Maryland. Look at a map, find the absolute lowest point on that border (which would be the very edge of the western border), and then look over to see where Indy is. I will save the suspense for you...Below the Mason-Dixon Line!

You sure represent the History and Geography Departments at Butler very well.
