Your low PPG against average says nothing about your ability to play defense. It says more about your abysmally boring and absurdly slow pace of play, not to mention the weakness of your schedule.
up until this, we've been exploring the fringes of the gaping hole in your basketball knowledge. here, we jumped in with both feet and now know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the extent of your repertoire ends at the edge of the Butler campus.uh huh...
dictating the pace of the game has nothing to do with defense huh? seems to me that controlling the tempo of the game is what you try to do, on the opposite end of the spectrum - but of course that goes down as "exciting and amazing offense" in your book.
And to be clear - this team is not one to hold the ball and slow down the offense, they just use good ball movement to get a good shot. There is a big difference between the two. You'll see a good offense from Butler on Sunday - not a horse race as you would prefer to see.
I cannot wait...
Hey big papa do you ever back up anything with a fact or reference or do you just call everyone stupid and then take off. Pace of play and limiting another teams chances of scoring are the net same as causing turnovers.up until this, we've been exploring the fringes of the gaping hole in your basketball knowledge. here, we jumped in with both feet and now know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the extent of your repertoire ends at the edge of the Butler campus.
Listening to you, I have to assume you're going to cut down the nets in SA, but I've heard little about that from the national media. What gives?

the guy pretended that your scoring D is somehow a stat relative to your ability to play defense. I've watched enough to know that it isn't. Your pace of play is a strategic decision to take advantage of your limited athleticism. What factoid do you need to support it? You want pace stats to support my comment, or would you like stats about UT's offensive or defensive efficiency to prove that your stats merit no WOWs? Limiting scoring opportunities is a style of play, not a measure of defensive ability, period. Opp FG% might help your argument, if you were playing teams capable of putting it in the hole.Hey big papa do you ever back up anything with a fact or reference or do you just call everyone stupid and then take off. Yeah it's a simple combination of offensive efficiency and pace of place.
Ah, yes, it's all crystal clear to me now. I don't know how I missed it before.
"Pace of place." I'll be the first to admit that I was unfamiliar with this critical aspect of the game. Thankfully, Butler fans have been gracious enough to share their uber-expertise with us.
don't provide the relevant stats. let the genius do his own homework.Offensive Efficiency TN: 10
