That’d be a huge surprise and would be very cool! (VERY Highly doubt it tho) He would be a stellar recruiter for us and we would rise to the top as fast as Richt was partly responsible for us hitting bottom.(which we’ve hopefully hit)

So from the sounds of it, CJP hasn’t offered anyone yet and Helton is out there telling potential candidates that CJP is a hard ass that Is very demanding of his staff.
These are not good things to hear while every other team is out the snatching up coaches. We will end up UNLVs OC, Barney Cotton, put up a top 25 rushing attack this year and is a nobody in the eyes of our fans. He fits the typical UT hire and with his lack of love from the coaching world would be willing to deal with a hard ass for a boss for the chance at the spot light being UT OC would offer.
