I posted this on the other thread too but want to repeat it because I sincerely think this could be the home run hire we are looking for:

What about Major Applewhite now that Houston has fired him. He is young, great recruiter, and he is a good offensive mind. I think Houston jumped the gun a little on firing him. He was tutored by Tom Herman who is one of the best minds in the game and his offense was not the problem at Houston

so the OC at OKSu left to become a position coach at tOSU over the OC spot at Tennessee? Gosh we must be a joke in the college football coaching industry. smh

I posted this in the wrong thread earlier...........

Perusing other message boards I was shocked to see the ole Football Coach's name keep coming up and see it on a few different boards......anyone else hear the name Steve Spurrier. Don't shoot the messenger. Just making a statement about what's out there!!!
