the answer is one of three possibilities.
1. The guy we hired is on a team currently competing for something and doesnt want the information leaked. If it's this one, MOST college bowl games will be completed in a weeks time. If it's an NFL team, the regular season ends this weekend (I cant imagine waiting until the end of the NFL playoffs)
2. The guy we want to talk to is on a team currently competing for something and doesnt want the information leaked. If it's this one, see above
3. UT has been turned down a bunch (as per usual) and the university has learned its lessons about not making that sh!t public anymore until they find someone who might say "yes". If it's this one, hold on to your hats for Schianogate 2.0. This process may go on for a while and may end with UT covering its arse by promoting someone already on staff. If they really wanted someone on staff, the hire and announcement would have already been made. No reason to keep that a secret.
I think if I'm putting these in order of probability, it would be #1 (they made the hire),#3(they dont know what they are doing) ,#2 (I needed a plausable third choice)
