Smoke Monday JG Quote

Everyone that watches JG should know he does this but we have a few on here that will post some meaningless stats to show how good he is.. JG doesn't have "it" and "it" can't be taught but I think HB may have it.. At least I hope he does
I don't see anyone defending him now.

JG has initiative in spades. Really animated...until halfway through pursuing a pick six. Bailey took a sack and had everybody lined up faster than I’ve ever seen our incumbent perform the task. That’s where I judge them. He has Iceman Clausen level poise and calmness. Give him a start and a full game and he’ll find the octaves before the middle of the opening quarter.
He has a presence and feel that you can just see and sense.

Auburn DB Weighs-In On 100-Yard Pick Six Against Tennessee

Monday said, "One of those quarterbacks who loved to stare his receivers down ... He wasn’t doing a good job of looking us off tonight, so I tilted away and came back late.”

Our 5th year Senior “Gives Us The Best Option To Win” QB, everyone.

I hope we never see him run another play at this university.
He "stares receivers down". Huh, I've never noticed.

Harrison Bailey has always lead by example not with his mouth. Nearly 5000 yards passing and 50 TD just in his senior year and players respect him and know that he can put points on the board like nobody's business with his arm. Pruitt is a complete IDIOT if he really said Bailey doesn't talk loud enough.

JG proves his worth every week and that idiot Pruitt keep starting him.

He did look a little timid. He should grow into his command naturally but I would like to see him come in with full confidence and take the initiative.

Probably not sure what to make of the situation. He’s definitely not used to losing like this. 99.9% of his fan base thinks he should be the starter. His position coach shouldn’t have a job. And his IQ deficient head coach is apparently basing his playing time off of his performance during mop up time and Covid shortened practices.

iirc it's because it was RPO and like McElroy said is if you see your receiver slip or go into tight coverage, you have to sail that ball way over the end zone.

Bailey should play all snaps besides the opening handoff for FL (if it's at home, idr) at senior night.
Agree.
If it is Senior Night I guess I would go ahead and let JG start and have the first set of downs and then it's off to the bench

On the pick 6, did anyone see who he was throwing it to? My money is on Palmer. Last year, and this year, if it's tight or if JG "needs" something he tends to zone in on a particular player. Last year it was JJ, this year it's Palmer. I don't care if you triple cover them, he's already made his decision.

he did but you knew what you was going to get with JG. We knew JG was not going to improve
He had grown into a game manager...one could convince themselves of that at least. He’s regressed to being worse than he was as a freshman. His family won’t let him make the mistake of an encore. I sincerely believe that.

What I would give to have the Iceman back.

Watch the replay. He looked right and never looked anywhere else. He decided before he threw where he was going. It is what he does routinely.

I was flipping last night between regular game and the sky cast and had it on skycast when that play happened.

You could see what was going to happen a mile away. Monday suckered him and JG never even tried to look him off.

You're right. It happens routinely and how the guy getting paid 4 million a season can't see that is sickening.

I've come to believe he does see it(how could he not?). So the question is why doesn't he make a move? I have no idea what is going on, but there has to be more than meets the eye.

I have no idea what to make of it either outside of sheer stupidity or stubbornness on the part of Pruitt.

I've never seen a coach stick by a guy that he didn't recruit like Pruitt has with JG through so many screw ups. And it's not little things either, it is catastrophic screw ups as the SEC network guys said.
