Enlighten me, hashbrowns.

I will say I'm about to open a Mic Ultra, so I will admit that I cam currently not drinking terrific beer.

Just a few off the top of my head: Deschutes, Ropewalk, Avery, Bell's, Dogfish Head, Anchor, Long Trail, New Belgium(They used to be special), Singha

But don't worry I am drinking high life so I feel for you.

I like both of those. I see lots of new things to research, tho.

Bell's is out of Michigan and can be found down this way if you can find the right place.

Long trail is out of Vermont.

Most of the others are west of the Missisippi.

Deschutes is about to go national anytime now. They are by far my favorite brewery.

Any good local breweries in Chattanooga?

There's a place in Memphis (couple of locations) named the Flying Saucer that has virtually every beer known to man but the place is full of geeky beer snobs that make me want to punch somebody in the face.

They're a chain. They have one in Nashville as well. I wish they would open one in Knoxville.

I haven't. Only time I ever go your direction is for football games. Is it any good. Spending so much time out west I am a little spoiled.

I think you'd decide it fit your definition of the Chattanooga breweries.

I don't want to sound like a beer snob myself, but there is a definit difference between me and the clowns that inhabit my local breweries. I don't even like the bartenders because they are so snooty.

It used to my favorite place to go, but my love affair with it faded. I can't even drink my former favorite beer there anymore.
