And Norwegian immigrants kick so much ass here. They are very successful in the US economy. Obviously there is a sampling bias in that result, but still it's noteworthy.

IMO the US capitalistic system isn't working nearly as well as the socialist systems in the countries listed above.

Many people claim Norwegians are more successful than Americans, and thus conclude their economic system is better, but research refuted that conclusion by pointing out Norwegians do even better in America than they do in Norway.

Because the government taking more money from people is a good thing? It obviously isn't due to the governments efficient management of resources and services.

If the goal is to get money away from private citizens it doesn't matter to them whether the govt is capable or not.

Whether the money is well spent or not, it cannot remain in the possession of a citizen.

The people in the goverment are smarter than you. They know how to better spend your money than you do.

Wouldn't be worried about that. They'd be able to keep and spend every penny they earned.

Wealthy would be better off under wealth tax than with death tax, so whether they'll admit it or not, they probably want it too.
