Without the INT the game could have gone a totally different way. The fumbled punt was bad, but throwing a pick six to a d-lineman is beyond indefensible. That boneheaded play aside, Bray did look the part of an SEC qb for the rest of the game.
No it couldn't have. Assuming Simms was still in instead of Bray - we never would have scored enough points to keep up with USCjr for that long. Plus he probably would have taken 4-7 more sacks and fumbled a time or two more thus making it even worse.
Simms could not have made some of the throws/plays Bray made.
