Sick of the haters

Well, I can't prove it, so you believe whatever you want. I was just stirring up the super fans and probably shouldn't have poked at them. I don't watch any NFL anymore (based on the off the field crap) but I still consider myself a fan of Denver.
Prove what? Im just believing you at your word. Are you now saying you were just trolling the whole time? I’m a little confused.

I’m playing Fantasy Football this year so I’ve watched a bit more than usual. 😁

I was stirring the pot to knock Butch and Jake down off of their "we are real fans and you are not" high horse. Thectruth is we put up an 8ft Smokey on game days (even did that when I lived in Alabama). We wear orange all year. My kids woo after Good Ole Rocky Top and before Rocky Top Tennessee.
We love all things Tennessee. My wife and I both graduated from there.
I'm not happy with our program and I will voice that opinion. Others can voice theirs.
I hope one day we can be relevant again.

No one is trying to prevent you from voicing your opinion, but I’m gonna need to see pics of this 8-foot Smokey. 😁

They are 12, 10, 8, and 6. The other 2 in the pic are some of our friends kids.
You have four? Wow. I have two and can’t imagine doubling that. lol.

Thanks for the sharing the pic. It’s fantastic.

Do we not have 3 games left?

You went with the claim we have no chance in those 3 games.

HEY .... you got snarky and said that you had not mentioned the 3 games left but you did... go read your comment again.
And yes I did say we don't have a realistic chance of winning any of the games left.. at least not with JG at QB.

Unfortunately, all Vol fans are losers at this time in history, sunshine pumpers, nega Vols, the whole fan base, like it or not!

It hurts after so many years of losing and thinking things can't possibly get worse and then they do get worse, but we all know, nothing lasts forever, nothing!
Go Vols

That's not doable but I ll try.

I was watching La Tech and State a few mins ago and La Techs OL just from the eye test looks more like a college line than what we have on the field right now.

If your fielding a healthy Smith, Hall, and Kennedy 9 games into the season (just from a starting 5 standpoint) yes.

Right now we look like we re playing with 3 TEs in our starting 5 and one of the other guys hasnt blocked anybody in the multiple years hes been since hes been on campus.
The simple question of are we more talented than uncc was not answered.

Give them some credit and a minute to grow. JG is tough, has a great arm and some talent. We have a young team with some promise! Let’s get behind these guys and have some fun!!!

This isn’t “everyone gets a trophy” football anymore.

Snarky? Lol

Are you female?

If UT doesnt win anymore games it will have substantially less to do with who's not playing QB and a lot more to do with who is playing OL.

Wasn't Dobbs held back for a period of time? At least that was the scuttlebutt, right? Maybe if it became a more reliable feature of our offense, it would take some of the pressure off the pass.

It looks like JG's first step or his twitch that great athletes have is just not there. JG might or may not beat Dobbs in 40 but I bet Dobbs could get him in first 10 yards by 2 steps. His average per carry in HS was 2 yards PC It is what it is and will be for the next 2 years. I looked back at MAX prep and have no ideal where is top dual threat QB came from. Keep throwing screens , swing passes and 5 yard passes on 3rd and 10. What do you get? A QB with high completion % ,a punt on 4th down and a loss.
On 4th down against USCe on a do or die play he refused to throw it up and took a sack. What did you get? A QB with a low interception numbers and a loss and top sack numbers 2 years in a row . That was against a 3 man rush most QB's run around on last play then throw it up remember UF QB last year maybe JG cant out run 3 D linemen.. .

Sure we are.
We also won the football game.
We were less talented than AU and won that game on the road.

This gold mine of talent Pruitt is coaching is a mirage.
We scored one offensive touchdown against a team we are vastly superior to. While there is certainly a talent deficit to be a top teir team, we are not getting the most out of what we have and games like this are a perfect illustration of it. So its time to acknowledge that there is more than just a talent deficit with this team.

You're wasting your time. That clown pays JG to live in his head......

Has that wounded duck JG threw up in the air ever come down yet ? Yes I know he got hammered on the play but that is because he is too ignorant to side step the rusher and then try and throw it. No pocket awareness. The poor guy is hurt too. You can see it but they simply refuse to take him out and leave him in there to get crushed game after game.

Come on man. You even made a comment to a poster in another thread that said something like ‘yeah, apparently you’re not a fan around here if you don’t watch the games.’ And Denver! What about Denver!

That whole exchange is just kinda stuck in my head, ya know?

I’ll try to lay off though. Not trying to be an azz.

You are going? I’m impressed! Good for you. Hopefully we play better than today.
It is my duty to point out that you are being a hater......again.

I disagree.

Or throw it a half step sooner and if he is going to get hit, at least it's roughing. I watched the Bama/LSU game and I had almost forgotten what a timing route looked like. JG is SO FAR from throwing a timing route that it isn't funny. Gary Danielson, for all of his being an *******, kept talking about Tua reading the D and knowing where the primary was going to be and what he was going to do if...... WE HAVE NONE OF THAT. I don't give a crap about time. We could be throwing quick slants and quick outs IF we had a read on the D prior to the snap no matter how bad the blocking is. Throw a man open and hit timing routes. Recognize the defense and put it where they ain't.

So I am wondering about this rebuild we have been on since 2001 . I think that's like 4 Head Coaches 8 or 9 Offensive Coordinators 10 or 12 Defensive Coordinators and I have actually forgotten the numbers of S and C staff . I have watched the different cliques , decide who could do what . Never been correct of course . Have heard at least 8 times about " just gotta get his guys " LMAO YET those guys never seem to arrive . So , please do tell all about how you know this is the one . LMAO I'll be waiting . OH and I actually am wanting the answers . Not trolling Its been 8 years or so .
None of them ever get their guys. Mainly because they always need 5 star talent to hide their coaching deficiencies.

No hate involved. This team has issues. Some is development. Some is talent. Some is attitude.

As for JG, yes. He is tough. He has one of the best arms UT has had in years.... maybe since Shuler. That's not his problem and never has been. His problems were on display in this game for anyone watching. He doesn't make good reads at the LOS to pick up blitzes or consistently get them into the right play. He doesn't read coverages well. On both of these things, he's behind where a 3rd year player should be. He has had a tendency this year to stare receivers down which results in the D reacting before he throws. He's got the arm to make the completion but the receivers don't have room to operate. His inconsistent and often poor recognition of coverages frequently results in him throwing the ball a half count late. This increases the hits he takes and results in receivers having to come back for the ball when it is pretty obvious that wasn't his intent. The play he was bailed out by a INT call vs Charlotte while attempting to throw to Callaway is a clear example.

Many of the hits he takes are from the OL missing blocks. But most that take place after about 2.5 seconds (the standard amount of time a QB should count on to throw) are because he failed to recognize a blitz or make good pre and post snap reads of coverages. He doesn't "feel" pressure. Example- the play that Tatum got planted in his lap.

Unfortunately, there are some new regressive tendencies. On more than a few occasions over the past few weeks, he has "checked down" with good protection and open receivers down field. He has also begun to lose his footwork causing him to sail balls that he previously threw into a very tight window.

That's not hate. That's not wishing him ill. That's just where he is. The OL and RB's have significant issues as well The reason I spent more time on his issues is that so many are in denial and some follow and defend him cult-like. No one is defending the OL... they're pretty much universally criticized. You'll see one of his devotees respond to this post directly.
