I really hate it for Shy. Hitting a defenseless linemen from behind in the knee area shouldn't be allowed. The NCAA should look at Shys injury and adjust the rule book. I've never seen anyone get hit from that angle. Shy had no idea the guy was lunging at his legs. It was an blind sided chop block. The depth perception impaired probably can't see how it wasn't a clean hit.
