I've said this for years now and it still hasn't changed. My guess is they really don't care about leg injuries.

There's no question that block was illegal. In order to do a legal cut block you have to be facing the player being blocked. Side or back is illegal.

What is the point of the dirty or not dirty play discussion? To have the UGA guy sit out a game for targeting?

It's a contact sport. Things happen. Hope the injury heals and Shy (and Chubb) gets back to normal soon.

Any chance the league steps in and does something to suspend the player? It was purposeful and caught on tape. Tuttle probably has a valid lawsuit against the guy.

This pisses me off-- YES it was a dirty hit, quit trying to split hairs folks. Its bad enough the guy was almost pulling Tuttle down by the jersey and didn't get called for holding/mauling, but then once he knew he was beat just dove at his knee from behind.... All I see is "prayers for Chubb" when he got hurt stepping out of bounds the wrong way and our starter is out for the season because of shady play...I said before this game we are getting dangerously thin and this isn't what we need right now. He was one of the few DT's that was getting push and he will certainly be missed. Hopefully Mosley can get some reps even though we already have 4, he's not doing anyone any good holding down the pine, might as well see if he can push some O linemen around a bit.

It's doublely illegal since was he literally holding him by his jersey from the back. Should've been called for holding before he dove at him. The refs were absolutely awful in this game.

What's truly amazing is that some off these same people defending this dirty play from a UGA player and have defended the UGA coach are the same one who bash our team.
Talk about self loathing.

Kyle Phillips will start playing more tackle. He was already getting some snaps there in the Florida game.
